The band of heavy rain will continue to stall over portions of the North Bay. Periods of heavy rain will continue to fall in Marin, Sonoma, and Napa counties. Elsewhere, occasional rain will continue. The South Bay may pick up just a few scattered showers. This pattern remains in place tomorrow. The rain finally makes its move to the south, over the entire Bay Area, Friday. The flood threat will continue to be focused in the North Bay. Update: The Flood Advisory for parts of the North Bay has been extended until 8 pm today.
