Multi-vehicle crash closes San Jose streets
A crash involving five cars left one person dead and closed several blocks of Story Road in San Jose. Witnesses said a vehicle was weaving in and out of traffic before it collided with one car, kept driving, and then struck three others. Investigators are working to determine what happened.

Witnesses described a silver verhicle weaving in and out of traffic, first hitting a Tesla near the enterce to Happy Hollow Park and Zoo before hitting three other cars near Lucretia Avenue.

A verbal dispute over a blocked sidewalk may have escalated into a deadly hit-and-run Monday afternoon in San Francisco’s South of Market neighborhood, according to prosecutors.
"One car is coming from back — very high speeds, and crashed into two to three cars," said Mohinder Singh, who saw the crash.
Singh said he saw an elderly man and woman inside one of the involved vehicles.
Road closures
Road closures remained in place for several hours as officers investigated the cause of the crash and who was at fault.
Wintesses also said the intersection where the crash occurred is notoriously busy, located near a Walmart, school, and gas station.
