2-alarm San Jose house fire displaces 7, kills pet
SAN JOSE, Calif. - At least seven residents are displaced after their house caught fire in San Jose early Saturday.
The fire broke out around 5:10 a.m. in the 600 block of Woodland Trail, the San Jose Fire Department said.
While the residents were able to escape uninjured, a cat died in the fire.
The cause of the fire wasn't disclosed.
The Red Cross is assisting those displaced.
