Beyoncé announces tour dates with no Bay Area stops

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA - FEBRUARY 02: Beyoncé accepts the Best Country Album award for "COWBOY CARTER" onstage during the 67th Annual GRAMMY Awards at Crypto.com Arena on February 02, 2025 in Los Angeles, California.
SANTA CLARA, Calif. - Fresh off her historic Grammy night, Beyoncé on Monday announced dates for her "Cowboy Carter" tour. And unfortunately for Bay Area fans, Queen Bey won’t be making a royal appearance here.
What we know:
The "Texas Hold ‘Em" singer announced details of her 22-date stadium tour, which is set to kick off at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood in Los Angeles County this spring.
The world tour will also include stops in Chicago and New Jersey, before going to Europe to perform in London and Paris.
She’s set to return to the U.S. for summer concerts in Houston, Washington, D.C., and Atlanta.
On her Instagram page on Sunday, her tour announcement came with the words: "SHE’S COMING." The post hinted at a performance in Las Vegas, though her website did not list the city as a tour stop.
Local perspective:
In 2023, Beyoncé brought the house down with a concert at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara as part of her Renaissance World Tour.
Thousands of her fans, known as the Beyhive, dressed up in their best Beyoncé outfits for a memorable musical event that resulted in an economic boon for the South Bay.
The superstar’s visit was celebrated by the city of Santa Clara with a special designation making her "honorary mayor" and giving her a key to the city.
The 43-year-old superstar is no stranger to Levi’s, where she’s performed five times, including her 2016 Super Bowl 50 half-time show.

What's next:
Bay Area Beyoncé fans who don’t want to miss out on the Grammy legend’s "Cowboy Carter" tour may want to take advantage of her four appearances in Southern California.
She’s set to take over SoFi Stadium on April 28, May 1, 4, and 7.

Beyonce's 'Cowboy Carter' Album continues to break records
Beyonce and her Cowboy Carter album continues to break records. It's become Spotify's most streamed album in a single day. Amazon marks Beyonce's biggest album debut on its platform. She's one of the few black artists making country music right now, and it's believed that she made the album due to a negative experience at the Country Music Awards show that was back in 2016.
