Homicide investigation underway in Oakland

OAKLAND, Calif. - Oakland police are investigating a shooting Saturday evening near Lakeshore Avenue and Mandana Boulevard, just east of Interstate 580.

Officers were called to the area at 5:56 p.m. for a reported shooting. Once on scene, officers located a man with at least one gunshot wound.

Oakland police public information officer Johnna Watson tells KTVU this is a homicide investigation.

No other details were shared by police.
