Injuries reported in Castro Valley big rig crash

Big rig collision on I-580 in Castro Valley at Strobridge Avenue.

CASTRO VALLEY, Calif. - The California Highway Patrol on Tuesday investigated a crash involving two big rigs and one car in Castro Valley.

The accident was first reported before 4:30 a.m. on eastbound Interstate 580 near the Strobridge Avenue onramp.

There were reports of injuries, according to the CHP.

All eastbound lanes were opened just after 6 a.m. but the onramp was still closed
