Here's the Rap Sheet for Jan. 11, 2016:

SECOND ASSAULT REPORTED BY OAKLAND POLICE: A man who sexually assaulted and kidnapped a woman near Piedmont Avenue in Oakland last month may have struck again, police said today.

The latest incident happened shortly after 1:30 a.m. Sunday on the 2300 block of Broadway.

Police said a 23-year-old woman was walking when she was approached from behind by a man with a gun. The assailant forced her to walk to a secluded location, where he robbed and sexually assaulted her. The man then fled on foot.

Another woman was attacked in much the same way about midnight Dec. 17 near Piedmont and Randwick avenues, police said.

The attack is a white or Latino man in his 20s, tall with a medium build. He was last seen wearing a black baseball cap, black bandana, black sweatshirt with a hood, dark pants and black shoes with red trim.

Anyone with information in either case is asked to call the Oakland police Special Victims Section at (510) 238-3641 or Crime Stoppers of Oakland at (510) 777-8572. Crime Stoppers of Oakland is offering up to $15,000 for information leading to an arrest in this case.

OLD MISSING PERSONS CASE REOPENED: Fremont police asked for the public's help today for any information relating to a 14-year-old boy who went missing in 1982.

Daniel Naylor was last seen leaving his house on Nightingale Place after an argument on Oct. 5, 1982. Authorities found his bike along the Alameda Creek Trail nearby.

But police say about a month after he disappeared, he apparently went back to his house and "collected every piece of property that belonged to him. Daniel was never seen or heard from again and the case has since gone cold."

Fast forward to last summer, when Folsom police contacted their counterparts in Fremont, saying they'd found a man who looked very similar to an age-progressed photo of Naylor. Authorities ultimately determined that he wasn't Naylor, but Fremont police, their interest piqued, decided to reopen the case in earnest.

In a statement, police said "detectives are currently investigating leads where it is believed that Daniel did not in fact run away, but he may be missing due to foul play."

Anyone with information is asked to call Fremont police Detective Jacob Blass at (510) 790-6900 or email ColdCaseDetective@fremont.gov.

PLEAS FOR HELP IN DOUBLE HOMICIDE: Oakland police today joined family members of two men shot dead exactly three years ago.

Eduardo Childress, 22, and Larry Lovette, 30,  were shot dead on Jan. 11, 2013. Oakland police said Childress was shot dead on the 2300 block of East 17th Street. Lovette was then lured to that area before his bullet-riddled body was found dumped near Dimond Park at Canon Avenue and Wellington Street.

"My brother has two sons he does not get a chance to raise because somebody took his life," said Childress' sister, Destiny Washington. "He was only 22."

Lovette's sister, Tanisha  said she was there to "ask for closure for my big brother."

Oakland homicide Lt. Roland Holmgren said, "That's what our intentions are here. There's two children who will never have the opportunity to see their father. And maybe there's a little bit of information - it may not be the smoking gun, but it's that little piece that puts us that much closer to finding those responsible."

Anyone with information is asked to call Oakland police homicide at (510) 238-3821.
