Oakland International High School on lockdown

OAKLAND, Calif. - An Oakland high school in the Temescal neighborhood was on lockdown Wednesday morning and there was police activity near 45th and Webster streets.

District spokesman John Sasaki said that Oakland International School was placed on lockdown but that all the students were safe. 

Police activity was reported just before 9 a.m.

No more details were immediately released.
