Unusual sight: Dolphins in the Weeki Wachee River
WEEKI WACHEE, Fla. - It was an unusual sight along the Weeki Wachee River: Dolphins that usually stick to the area where the river meets the Gulf of Mexico instead made their way right up into the river to the delight of paddleboarders.
The two dolphins were caught on video swimming through the Weeki Wachee River by Pam and Jerry Napp, who operate SUP Weeki, a stand up paddleboard touring company along the river.

"Yes, those are two dolphin!" the company posted on its Facebook page. "We all had to look twice today while out on the river. A rare sighting," the company said.
There were also lots of manatees to see out on the river that day, likely a treat to all those on the river on Sunday.
ONE TANK TRIP: Paddleboard with the manatees
Pam Napp says the sighting of dolphins, though, was quite unusual. "We saw them again today on our canal, right in front of our dock," she told FOX 13. "It is only the second time we have seen dolphin on this river in five years," she said.
