Vegetation fire breaks out in Pittsburg

PITTSBURG, Calif. - Firefighters on Monday morning responded to a vegetation fire in Pittsburg.
The fire broke out around 10:25 a.m. south of W. Leland and Golf Club roads.
Fire officials said forward progress was stopped on the 7-acre fire, and it was almost 50% contained.
No nearby structures were threatened.
