San Francisco Giants manager Bruce Bochy was hospitalized in Miami Monday after feeling ill, team officials said.
Bochy, 61, was admitted to University of Miami Hospital and will be monitored overnight. Giants officials said he is resting comfortably and is expected to return to the team on Tuesday.
They say Bochy will address his condition when he returns.
Bochy had two stints placed in his heart in February 2015. It is unknown if his current health concern is related.
Bench coach Ron Wotus will serve as manager for the Giants' game Monday against the Miami Marlins.
Bochy has won three World Series as the Giants' manager and the team is in first place in the National League West division this year, leading the Los Angeles Dodgers by one game.
