The NBA has suspended its season "until further notice" after a Utah Jazz player tested positive Wednesday for the COVID-19 (novel coronavirus) a move that came only hours after the majority of the league's owners were leaning toward playing games without fans in arenas.

President Donald Trump said Wednesday he is suspending all travel between the U.S. and Europe for 30 days beginning Friday as he seeks to combat a viral pandemic.
