Subtle changes in the weather today. Low clouds will hover close to the shore, while monsoonal moisture provides subtropical clouds for most of us. Air quality remains a concern in Napa, Sonoma, and Solano Counties with a Air Quality Advisory due to the Pickett Fire. Afternoon highs will dip slightly, but still hot inland. A Heat Advisory remains for one more day.

A busser at the renowned Zuni Cafe in San Francisco sprang into action when he saw a customer down on the ground unconscious. The worker says he used the CPR skills he learned working as a lifeguard and CPR instructor when he lived in Spain and Argentina. The San Francisco Fire Department plans to honor him with a plaque, saying that "it's well-deserved."

The Weather Advisories You Need To Know About For The Weekend!
Two Weather Advisories Remain In effect for the San Francisco Bay Area this weekend. First, The Heat Advisory which includes every Inland area until Saturday night at 9 PM. Secondly, an Air Quality Advisory For Solano, Sonoma and Napa Counties due to smoke from the Pickett Fire which continues burn near Calistoga. Unseasonably warm to hot temperatures will continue Inland while the return of the marine layer cools the Coast and Bay. Expect high clouds, (blow off from monsoonal moisture) to push through the Bay Area with a very slight chance of dry lightning in the Inland Areas. Seasonal temperatures will return by Wednesday.
