Presidential candidates made their last urgent pleas as voters prepared to weigh in.

Sen. Bernie Sanders' campaign rally in Richmond was briefly disrupted by topless protesters on Monday. 

Tuesday is the last day to register to vote in California's presidential primary on March 3, Super Tuesday.

Bernie Sanders, Joe Biden, Amy Klobuchar and Pete Buttigieg all targeted billionaire Mike Bloomberg, accusing him of buying his way into the election and making clear they were eager to take him on in a debate.

Doors will open at 10 a.m. at the Craneway Pavilion, 1414 Harbour Way South in Richmond, with the rally running from noon to 3 p.m.

During services on Sunday morning at Brookland Baptist Church, Pastor Charles B. Jackson, Sr. mentioned applying for a grant from Steyer’s foundation in conjunction with renovations at Lakeview Empowerment Center.

A campaign aide confirmed the plans Sunday night, ahead of a Monday deadline for candidates to ask the Iowa Democratic Party to recanvass the results. A recanvass is not a recount, but a check of the vote count to ensure the results were added correctly.

The Yes on C group says the measure will improve emergency alert and warning systems, improve evacuation routes and infrastructure for quicker evacuations, reduce hazardous vegetation and expand defensible space and fire safety inspections. 

The owner of the wine-cave at the center of the Democratic debate stage flare-up responded to being thrust into the spotlight.

The Democratic National Committee said it is trying to come up with an "acceptable resolution” to the situation so the debate can proceed.
