San Francisco becomes first city to implement speed cameras
Beginning March 20, San Francisco will deploy 33 speed cameras throughout the city to address and reduce serious and fatal car accidents. Tickets will automatically be issued to drivers exceeding the speed limit by 11 mph or more. The pilot program is designed to enhance safety on high-risk streets and near school zones.
