Separated from his mother, Okuayinonu made it to the East Coast of the United States, where he began to carve out an entirely new and foreign life. Joe Fonzi has his life story and football story.

Back in 2018, at halftime of the Raiders versus 49ers game, Terrell Owens received his Hall of Fame ring. Owens was voted into the Hall of Fame earlier that year but skipped the induction ceremony in Canton, Ohio, to hold his own celebration at his college in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

After five years at Stanford, 49ers linebacker, Curtis Robinson was an undrafted free agent, signed by the Denver Broncos in 2021. Robinson was cut by the Broncos, signed to the practice squad and then released. He’s been on and off the 49ers roster and practice squad since then. After injuries to both Fred Warner and Tatum Bethune, he became the guy wearing “the green dot” on defense. Robinson delves deep into his journey in a one-on-one interview with Joe Fonzi.
