San Francisco's newest entertainment zone opened in the Union Square neighborhood Thursday night. It comes amid some encouraging news about economic development downtown.

Will still feel muggy through Friday even though rain and thunderstorms pull out of the area by late morning. Expect high temperatures from mid and high 60s at the Beaches, 70s Bay and Peninsula and low/mid 80s Inland. The last weekend of Summer will be warmer with Autumn arriving in Monday.
