Possible mountain lion sighting near Belmont's Kittie Lane

BELMONT, Calif. - Police in Belmont are advising residents to use caution after a possible mountain lion sighting was reported there on Wednesday afternoon.
The big cat was spotted about 4 p.m. near the end of Kittie Lane, in the El Verano/Maywood Drive area, police said.
Residents should use caution and call Belmont police if the mountain lion is seen again.
