TSA's faster biometric lanes come to these 15 airports

The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) has launched biometric scanning lanes at 15 more airports in the United States.

The service is considered a quicker version of PreCheck and utilizes enhanced facial recognition technology for faster, more efficient identity verification.

TSA PreCheck Touchless ID comes to 15 airports

According to TSA, PreCheck Touchless ID is supposed to be faster process, because passengers to do not need to fumble with physical documents to verify their identity.

"Enrolled travelers with participating airlines can move through dedicated lanes with ease, enjoying a smoother and more convenient airport experience—an effortless way to start your travels," TSA wrote on its website.

15 new airports where the TSA PreCheck Touchless ID will be used:

American Airlines: Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport, Denver International Airport, Dallas Fort Worth International Airport, Harry Reid International Airport, LaGuardia Airport, Portland International Airport, Seattle–Tacoma International Airport and Salt Lake City International Airport.

Delta Air lines: Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport, John F. Kennedy International Airport and Los Angeles International Airport.

United Airlines: Newark Liberty International Airport, Chicago O'Hare International Airport and San Francisco International Airport.
