Caltrans is mourning the loss of one of its workers who was struck by an asphalt truck on Highway 4 in Martinez on Wednesday night. The agency has identified him as Mahdi Khorram, a transportation engineer-construction inspector. He started at Caltrans is 2023. He is survived by his wife and a 3-iyear-old child.
