It would establish buffer zones around homes in a section of the Berkeley Hills, including near Tilden Regional Park. Homeowners would be required to clear anything within five feet of their houses that could catch on fire. Berkeley council member for District 6 Brant Blackaby, and Berkeley Fire Chief David Sprague joined us in studio to talk about the expected changes.
