Apple announced a new, artificial intelligence feature called "Apple Intelligence", which the company says will its most widely-used products more useful. Wildfire threats peak in Santa Rosa with hot, dry conditions

SF Downtown First Thursdays returns for round two
A popular San Francisco block party returns tonight for a much anticipated encore. Last month, 20,000 people turned out for the debut of Downtown First Thursdays in San Francisco's SOMA neighborhood; featuring a live DJ set by Aluna, an outdoor art gallery and food vendors filling 2nd Street between Market and Folsom. Sacramento WWII Veteran honored in Normandy for 80th D-Day Anniversary
Among those honored by President Biden, 99-year-old Ken Mar of Sacramento. Mar is the last surviving Chinese-American prisoner of war from WWII. In 2020 was honored with the Congressional Gold Medal; the highest civilian award in the United States, alongside the Presidential Medal of Freedom.
