Body found floating in water: Oakland police

OAKLAND, Calif. - A dead body was found floating in the water in Oakland Sunday afternoon, according to police. 

Officers responded to the area of the 5400 block of Coliseum Way after receiving reports around 4:30 p.m. about a body floating in the water nearby. 

An active investigation is underway. No other details were immediately available.
