Ruptured gas line prompts shelter in place order in San Francisco

The San Francisco Fire Department is asking residents near the 1900 block of Baker Street to shelter in place as crews work to cap a ruptured gas line.

The incident was first Tweeted by San Francisco Firefighters Union Local 798 at 11:51 a.m.

Officials say people should avoid traveling to the area, and road closures and severe traffic delays should be expected for the time being.
