
Bryan Gallo
Bryan Gallo is an Emmy Award–winning journalist and meteorologist born and raised in Sonoma County. A graduate of Rancho Cotate High School, he discovered his passion for weather in elementary school science class, sparking a lifelong fascination with storms and atmospheric science.
He studied meteorology through Mississippi State University and trained at the Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute, blending science with storytelling. Bryan has worked at NBC Palm Springs and EW Scripps in Bakersfield, where he became known for clear, engaging forecasts and sharing memorable weather facts.
Outside the newsroom, Bryan enjoys storm chasing, traveling, and dancing. He comes from a big family and is proud dog dad to a three-legged husky named Eileen.
Bryan joined KTVU in January of 2026.
