Attempted robbery suspects speed away from Oakland crime scene and causes violent crash in Hayward
Police say they used their helicopter to track multiple attempted robbery suspects who were masked and armed after they confronted a security guard outside s supermarket in East Oakland. A police department spokesman said a motorcycle officer tried to pull over the suspect vehicle while it was on Interstate 880 but the driver sped away and got off in Hayward. That's where it crashed into another car. The three suspects in the getaway car and the driver they crashed into were all taken to the hospital. The suspects are 1 adult and two juveniles. They're all male. Police say they'll be taken into custody once they're released from the hospital.
