Walnut Festival temporarily relocates to Antioch
An East Bay tradition, the Walnut Festival, kicked off Thursday at the Contra Costa County Fairgrounds in Antioch. This year marks the first time in the festivals 89-year history that it was not held in Walnut Creek. The temporary relocation was due to construction at Heather Farm Park, which has hosted the Walnut Festival for nearly 50 years.
