BART prices are going up as ridership numbers are on the decline.

That maintenance involves single-tracking between the Embarcadero and 24th Street/Mission stations, creating a bottleneck for trains in both directions through downtown San Francisco, BART officials said.

Officers with the Concord Police Department responded Friday at 9:34 p.m. to the area of Willow Pass Road and Parkside Dive on a report of a collision involving a vehicle and a pedestrian.

Roberto Marenco, 38, was taken into custody at 8:45 p.m. at a home in Concord. Clayton and Concord police assisted BART police.

Police are searching for 38-year-old Roberto Marenco, who they believe is the suspect in an alleged sexual assault in an elevator at the Millbrae Station.
