ICE operation reported in Concord; police insist they didn't help in any way

(Immigration And Customs Enforcement)
CONCORD, Calif. - Federal Immigration enforcement activity occurred in Concord on Saturday, according to the Concord Police Department.
"The Concord Police Department became aware of federal immigration enforcement activity that occurred in Concord today. We did not assist in this activity in any way and have no details on this federal operation," the police department wrote on Facebook.
Neither police, nor ICE, would say where the agents were conducting their operation, despite requests for that information.
Police say their existing policy is compliant with existing California state law (SB 54). Their policy is available here.
California is a sanctuary state, which means that local officials do not have to cooperate with ICE.
However, ICE still has the ability to send its own agents to arrest people in cities with sanctuary policies, without the involvement of state or local authorities.
