Devin Trubey
Devin Trubey joined KTVU in 2025. She is ecstatic to join the station she watched growing up as a child.
A Bay Area native, Devin was born and raised in San Leandro. After graduating from Irvington High School in Fremont, she opted for a new adventure and attended Washington State University in Pullman, Wash., where she graduated with broadcast journalism and sport management degrees.
Devin started her on-air career at KLEW in Lewiston, Idaho, as the Palouse bureau chief before moving to Springfield, Illinois, to become an anchor and reporter for WICS.
Prior to joining KTVU, Devin was an anchor, reporter and forecaster for ABC10 in Sacramento. Covering some of California’s biggest stories from the fourth-largest wildfire in the state’s history, the Park Fire, a historic blizzard in Truckee and Hurricane Hilary.
She also loves sports and has done extensive coverage on the Athletics’ move to West Sacramento, Sacramento Kings and Golden State Warriors playoff runs and the realignment of the PAC-12.
When she’s not at work, Devin enjoys traveling, trying new places to eat and being near the water. She would love to hear where you think the best boba spot in town is.
