The man fired a handgun accidentally at 1:40 a.m., injuring himself, police said. The incident took place in the 1200 block of Fritzen Street, according to police.

69-year-old San Francisco woman identified as victim in deadly pedestrian crash

At 3:26 p.m., officers responded to the collision at 19th Street and South Van Ness Avenue and found the injured female pedestrian. She was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries, police said.
