A woman was killed and a man hospitalized with major injuries in a crash Saturday night in Cupertino involving a suspected drunken driver with two previous DUI convictions, authorities said.

The female lion was found on Wednesday afternoon in a tree in the preserve, located near Los Altos, the California Department of Fish and Wildlife said.
Officials with the Department of Fish and Wildlife confirmed on Monday the animal that attacked a 6-year-old girl along a trail at Rancho San Antonio County Park, near Los Altos was indeed a mountain lion.
The injuries to the child were minor, and the child was treated on-scene, Midpen spokeswoman Leigh Ann Gessner said Sunday afternoon.
The child suffered minor injuries and was treated at the scene.
