Eighty years after the world witnessed the first atomic bombs dropped in Japan, survivors of the bombing gathered at a ceremony in San Francisco's Golden Gate Park Japanese Tea Garden to commemorate the survivors and to call for peace.

KTVU Meteorologist Roberta Gonzales forecasts a slight dip in the warmer temperatures on Thursday, but they will still be above average. Then Friday and Saturday things really heat up with part of the Bay Area seeing temperatures in the 90s and perhaps even 100 degrees.
