Looks Like Autumn, Feels Like Autumn!

Satellite imagery shows extensive stratus coverage across the North Bay, barring interior Napa County, parts of the East Bay from Concord and Mount Diablo west to the Bay, extending as far south as Hayward, the city of San Francisco, western San Mateo County, Santa Cruz County and most of the southern Monterey Bay region. The clouds will retreat towards the coast through the day, but most of Sonoma and Marin Counties, in addition to western San Mateo County and Santa Cruz County, are expected to remain socked in through the rest of the day. High temperatures range from mid 60s at the Beaches to upper 70s well Inland with breezy winds 10 t0 20 mph. Expect drizzle or light showers mainly San Francisco to the North on Thursday morning for the commute.

Weather: Drop in temperatures starting Wednesday

The one thing consistent about autumn is: Change! Another change is coming your way Wednesday with a big drop in temperatures! Out of the 90s to the 70 for the Inland areas! So, Wednesday will start off cloudy along the Coast, Bay and Peninsula, then sunshine for all. Mid 60s Beaches, 70s elsewhere! Breezy afternoon winds westerly 10-20 mph. Drizzle for Thursday morning...details coming up tomorrow morning beginning at 4am on "Mornings on 2!"

Judge says removal of Sheriff Corpus can proceed, sites violation of laws

An opinion by a retired Superior Court judge late Monday cleared the way for the San Mateo County Board of Supervisors to vote to remove, or not remove, Sheriff Christina Corpus from office. If the five-person panel casts a 4/5 vote in favor of removal, it would make a first in the history of California. Corpus' attorneys say the process was flawed from the start and are asking the state attorney general to intercede.

Cooler pattern

Our warm to hot stretch is coming to an end. Low clouds will blanket a good potion of the Bay Area Wednesday morning. Partly cloudy skies are expected later in the day. Highs should range from the low 60s to the upper 70s. A system will drop in from the north later in the week. Shower chances have been added to the Friday forecast. Highest chances will be focused up in the North Bay.
