Pacific Gas and Electric confirmed Monday evening that it's moving forward with another round of power shutoffs that could impact anywhere from 240,000 to more than 600,000 customers. Another major wind event is expected to blow through the area beginning Tuesday before noon and should taper off midday Wednesday. 

PG&E confirmed Monday that its equipment may have been responsible for two more fires that broke out in the Bay Area during its Public Safety Power Shutoff over the weekend.

Sonoma County's Kincade Fire has displaced many immigrant families, some of whom work Sonoma County's vineyards. They are now staying in hotels and shelters. The Ramirez family is taking things one step at a time.

There was more progress on the Kincade Fire Monday, but the upcoming wind event presents a serious complication. In addition, a new evacuation warning was issued Monday evening for parts of Lake County. 

The Bay Area has been under a Spare The Air alert all day Monday and the Bay Area Air Quality Management District has also called another alert for Tuesday. 

Many of the shelters in place for the Kincade Fire are at capacity. Evacuees are trekking as far away as San Francisco, where there's power and an emergency shelter at St. Mary's Cathedral.

Mayor London Breed confirms San Francisco is sending additional resources to battle the Kincade Fire.

Hundreds of thousands of PG&E customers will again lose power on Tuesday and Wednesday during the utility's third public safety power shutdown.

At least 180,000 people are under a mandatory evacuation order due to the Kincade Fire in Sonoma County.

The Sonoma County Sheriff's Office on Monday downgraded some areas from a mandatory evacuation order to a warning, allowing residents to return home, but at their own risk.

The National Weather Service has issued a red flag warning from Tuesday through Wednesday as another round of gusty winds combined with very low humidity is expected to create critical fire weather conditions.

Pacific Gas & Electric says it failed to notify 23,000 customers, including 500 with medical conditions, before shutting off their power to prevent wildfires earlier this month.
