Judge rules Oakland police must release public records every 2 weeks over 6 months

An Alameda County Superior Court judge has ordered the city of Oakland and its police department to "promptly" release thousands of documents on police misconduct investigations every two weeks within the next six months - an order the city's attorney said at first would likely be impossible.
