Dozens of people marched through the streets of  Oakland Thursday, in an emotional but peaceful demonstration. A similar scene played out in Vallejo.

The City of San Francisco laid out plans for reopening much of their economy on Thursday. KTVU has learned that the other five counties that have acted in concert since the original shelter in place order will likely follow suit.

Shortly before 10 p.m., multiple 911 calls brought San Jose police to the 1100 block of East Williams Court. Arriving officers found five gunshot victims near an apartment complex.

Police say they were told a man walked up and started shooting into a group of people standing in a driveway at an apartment complex.  He then fled the scene on foot.

On Wednesday, Apple reopened several of its retail stores in the Bay Area. They’re among 100 Apple stores across the country that are opening this week with limited access and service.
