As Blue Shield takes over vaccination operations in California, it may force the end of some community clinics.

The city of Petaluma has become the first in the nation to ban the construction of new gas stations in the city, as part of its aggressive goal to reach carbon neutrality by 2030.

Twelve felony charges were swiftly filed by the Sonoma County District Attorney, ranging from lewd acts with a child to sodomy and aggravated sexual assault. Bail has been set at $3 million.

People too young were vaccinated in error, and now as many as 9,000 future appointments have been canceled.

This week's downpours contributed to the arrest of two suspects after a stolen SUV became stuck in a muddy Sonoma County field.

The annual event normally draws thousands to Sonoma County, which has been canceled this year because of coronavirus. So the release is going virtual, with pre-sales starting at 11 a.m. 

The North Bay is bracing for the worst as heavy wind and rain, brought on by an atmospheric river winter storm, sweep through the area Tuesday evening. 

Between 4 to 6 inches of rain is forecast for the North Bay from Tuesday night into Wednesday, enough to set off mudslides, debris flows and flooding.

A 32-year-old Richmond man was arrested Wednesday on suspicion of catalytic converter theft and driving a stolen truck, the Sonoma County Sheriff's Office said.
