Authorities on Sunday identified a person of interest in the stabbing. Police have not named any suspects in the case but said they want to speak to 23-year-old Michael D. Mosley. Police asked the public for help in locating him. 

The mood for the 49ers was far from joyous following a 34-31 victory Saturday night over the Los Angeles Rams because teammates were more concerned about the well-being of third-string quarterback C.J. Beathard, whose younger brother Clayton was fatally stabbed earlier in the day at a Nashville bar.

The Tennessean reports Beathard was the brother of quarterback C.J. Beathard of the San Francisco 49ers. The report says the victim also was the grandson of NFL Hall of Famer Bobby Beathard.

Now, city leaders say the team is losing lots of money due to poor management of non-NFL events held at Levi's Stadium.

When things couldn't get crazier, they did: On the final kickoff, Atlanta scored another touchdown when Olamide Zaccheaus came up with the ball as the 49ers were tossing it around in desperation.
