With news of a Solano County resident contracting the coronavirus, the Fairfield-Suisun Unified School District was told by federal health officials to prepare for a possible outbreak.

Crowds of selfie seekers are pestering almond orchard farmers in Solano County. Some are setting up picnics and leaving their trash. Others feel entitled enough to bring professional photographers for their own photo shoots on private property.

Two patients with novel coronavirus are being treated at hospitals in Contra Costa County, the health department confirmed on Tuesday. 

The victim was struck at 2:02 p.m. Sunday in the 1400 block of West Texas Street.

The fire, reported at 5:15 a.m. Saturday in the 100 block of Spencer Street, was contained to a detached garage by firefighters, who prevented its spread to the residence. A woman and her 72-year-old mother had been asleep inside the home and were able to exit safely.

Police say that on Saturday around 11:15 p.m., Travis broke into his ex-girlfriend’s apartment on Gregory St in Fairfield.

During the flight, the final test results showed 14 people had the coronavirus, even though they did not have symptoms.

No specific time for the arrival has been given, a base spokesperson said, adding it is expected to be "some time after 5 p.m."

According to the Center for Disease Control, the evacuees haven't been diagnosed with the disease but were taken to nearby hospitals for treatment. 

Some of the evacuees, like Samuel Roth, have gone on social media to share their experiences - and say, overall the conditions aren't that bad. He said people are allowed to walk around the hotel, and go outside for fresh air.
