Police in Antioch are investigating a shooting where one man was killed and another was injured. Officers say they responded to reports of gunfire at Enea Way and Putnam Street just after 10:30 p.m. on Sunday.  

Three Bay Area men were arrested Thursday and more than $150,000 in merchandise was seized following the investigation of a large retail theft in Reno.

Antioch police are searching for a driver who struck a teenager in a hit-and-run collision in Saturday evening.

Police did not say what the fight was about but they did allege that the father pulled out a gun and shot his son "multiple times." 

Antioch police are asking the public to help find a woman who suffers from dementia and has been missing since Friday. 

Detectives said they figured out that the 30-year-old had struck the older man in the head, knocking him out. Police did not say if the two knew each other or what the fight was about. 

Officers tried to pull over the car, but the teen driver led them on a chase, entering the Highway 4 and exiting at Hillcrest Avenue.

An officer on Highway 4 spotted an Audi reported stolen in San Francisco and attempted a traffic stop.

Witnesses provided the license plate number of the getaway vehicle.

Although officers began providing first aid, the man died from his injuries at the scene. 

Police said the driver was arrested and that a records check showed he was already wanted for fleeing Antioch officers a week earlier.

(KTVU and wire report) --  Police in Antioch are investigating a car crash that left a 16-year-old pedestrian in critical condition Friday night.

The toddler was taken to UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital in Oakland, while the two adults in the car were transported to John Muir Medical Center in Walnut Creek.

Six young demonstrators with the #6Forced2Strike movement entered their fifth day of a hunger strike at Antioch police headquarters on Tuesday. They are calling for an officer, who shot and killed a homeless man when he worked for San Francisco police in 2016, to be fired.  

Following two nights of public comment and protests that interrupted a meeting, the Antioch Unified School District has approved hiring police officers for six of its campuses. 

Protesters were so loud Wednesday night, they shut down a school board meeting of the Antioch Unified School District.
