Since 2010, Vallejo police have killed 19 people, all but one of which were shootings. And in all that time, no officers have received any discipline.

None of the officers have been charged criminally for any of these shootings in the last decade, as each case was deemed justified. Yet, many of these men's families say that police have acted with excessive force and have given false accounts about why they felt the need to shoot and kill their loved ones.

A shooting at a Vallejo gas station Sunday night, left a father of four dead.

Shay Davis said her cousin "was a beautiful person inside and out. He didn't have a bad bone in his body." He leaves behind a girlfriend and four young children. 

Vacaville police say they arrested a homicide suspect linked to a missing Vallejo woman in Santa Clara Friday morning. 

The issue of crime in the City of Vallejo is no secret, but the issue has become more worrisome because while crime decreased for many of the Bay Area’s biggest cities, that trend does not hold true for Vallejo.

McMahon was cleared of wrongdoing in January by the Solano County District Attorney’s Office, which declared McMahon’s deadly use of force justified.

There have been 21 killings inside city limits so far this year, with two more reported overnight Wednesday.

In two unrelated shootings, a man and woman were killed, a toddler was injured, and another man was injured in Vallejo Thursday evening, police said.

The incident happened around 3 p.m. in the 3000 block of Sonoma Boulevard.
