Authorities ordered major new mandatory evacuations due to the Kincade Fire late Saturday morning including the town of Windsor and the city of Healdsburg.

Soda Rock Winery, a landmark in the Alexander Valley since 1869, was engulfed in flames Sunday morning, as high winds fueled the Kincade Fire, pushing the flames west toward Healdsburg. 

The growing Kincade Fire has torn through 25,955 acres since it ignited Wednesday night with containment now at 11 percent. 

In a news release, PG&E announced that approximately 940,000 cutomers (more than 2.5 million people) will be affected.in 36 counties.

In addition, the district office will be closed and all after-school programs are canceled for Monday.

At 2,700 feet in altitude, the former 1800's town of Mercuryville, now a ghost town, population not two, but zero, though damaged still has it's one remaining building thanks to fire crews.

A few miles up a private road in Geyserville is where an equipment malfunction occurred on a Pacific Gas and Electric transmission tower, just minutes before the Kincade Fire started. 

PG&E is now confirming that it is issuing 48 hour notice for another possible Public Safety Power Shutoff this coming weekend.

PG&E incident reports obtained by 2 Investigates shows PG&E equipment may have ignited more than 400 fires in California last year.

The Muir fire between Stinson and Muir beaches in Marin County is holding at 58 acres and 50 percent containment as of Friday morning, the Marin County Fire Department said.

Meanwhile, PG&E admitted on Thursday its electrical equipment may have ignited the Kincade Fire, despite blackouts imposed across the region to prevent blazes.
