Vallejo police said a Vallejo man killed his former girlfriend and their 4-year-old son before fatally shooting himself.

A suspect was found and arrested with the help of a California Highway Patrol helicopter after a pursuit from Vacaville to Berkeley on Wednesday, according to the CHP.

Five American evacuees who flew from Wuhan, China to Travis Air Force Base last week and exhibited symptoms of the coronavirus, have tested negative for the disease, the Center for Disease Control confirmed on Wednesday.

According to the Center for Disease Control, the evacuees haven't been diagnosed with the disease but were taken to nearby hospitals for treatment. 

Some of the evacuees, like Samuel Roth, have gone on social media to share their experiences - and say, overall the conditions aren't that bad. He said people are allowed to walk around the hotel, and go outside for fresh air.

A plane carrying Americans evacuated from Wuhan, China, the center of the deadly coronavirus outbreak, is reportedly expected to land at Travis Air Force Base in Fairfield this week. 

A Defense Department statement said HHS officials requested the use of several facilities capable of housing at least 250 people in individual rooms through Feb. 29. HHS would be responsible for all care, transportation and security of the evacuees, according to the statement.
